How To Turn More Clicks Into Customers With Your Facebook Ads
“I’m getting clicks on my ad…but no conversions.”
This is one of the most common things I hear when speaking to business owners about their experience using Facebook or Instagram ads.
They spend a ton of time figuring out how to target their audience, how to write killer ad copy, and how to design an eye-catching image. And yet they end up with a lot of clicks on their ad but no leads or sales.
Sound familiar? If you’re having this same problem, it likely comes down to one main issue.
In my Facebook Ads Strategy Workshop & Training I talk about the 4 core foundational pillars that you need to dial in BEFORE running ads for your business if you want to succeed. These pillars include your:
Audience
Offer
Customer Journey
Messaging
While most clients have a solid understanding of their audience, their offer, and the messaging around it - 9/10 times it’s usually their Customer Journey (aka their funnel) needs the most work.
The good news is, your customer journey doesn’t need to be some complex machine with a million moving pieces in order to be effective.
Here are some key elements to consider if you want to have the most optimized and effective customer journey:
Is your customer journey uniquely designed to attract your ideal customer and get them excited to buy from you?
If you sell a high-ticket program versus a $297 course, your customer journey may need to involve more touch points and valuable content to warm up your audience first.
Does every step in the customer journey seamlessly lead your audience to the next step?
The key is to look for how you can reduce friction and make it as easy as possible for your audience to take the next step.
What tools do you need to add or change in your tech stack in order to make the customer journey more effective?
I love tools like Leadpages and ThriveCart because of the ability to customize every landing page & piece of messaging throughout the customer journey.
Is every important landing page that you want to track hosted on a domain you own?
With the Apple iOS 14 update, we can only track conversions on domains that we own so if you use tools like Kajabi or ConverKit you need to set up a custom domain or subdomain such as learn.yourbusinessname.com in order to be able to track as much data as possible from your ads
It’s not always easy but with the right customer journey in place, any business can see results with their Facebook and Instagram ads.
